"What would Jack gain from stirring up my family? By getting men sent after me or by you killing his own brother? To stop all of it would mean to just show up, prove he isn't dead. Wouldn't that be easier than paying someone to run around?"
If Jack was alive and wanted me dead it would have been easier to just let me sit in that cell... not send V to retrieve me... I think I was frowning as I was staring at V. The mask was off and I walked across the room to him, idly picking up his mask, turning it around I looked at the inside so the smile was facing him.
"Nothing is ever simple..." Something I had to keep reminding myself lately.

I had to crack a smile and shake my head at myself... Should have seen that one coming. "Smartass.." He hear me, I know he did despite him exiting the room.
I almost watched out the window to see him leave but why bother? Instead I decided I should try this sleep thing again.
