She sat up and looked at him, letting her nearly dry hair fall around her face. A smile... no it was more than a smile. It was confidence... it was Brooklyn. "I know."
She stood long enough to pull the covers from the head of the bed. Climbing under them she faced the wall as she closed her eyes.

He watched for a minute before he smiled to himself, watching her drift to sleep .. with that Mask turned towards her , watching her like he did.
Weather Brooklyn liked it or, he Meant something to her.
