"I suppose I walked into that one..." I closed my eyes and listened to his heart beat. He drove me crazy but time stood still when we were wrapped up in each other.
"Tell me something about you I don't know."

Bishop smiled to himself.
"I have a tattoo."
It was a small reveal, but considering just how much of each other they had seen it was impactful nonetheless.

"I'm serious."
My eyes were open again as I shifted my body with his so I could look at his face. Trying to tell if he was lying or not.
"Where could you possibly have a tattoo?"

Bishop turns his head so that the back of it is facing Nero, where at the bottom of what hair line he had, the end of a cross could be seen.
"A place you could never see."

"Who knew you were such a rebel Garrett." I smiled at him even after the pause. I haven't called him by his actual name in a long time. It's been Bishop for weeks...

"I know, next thing you know Cell will be driving a car whilst Sin and I hit mailboxes with Devlin's baseball bat."
Bishop smiled at the sound of his real name, it felt like a turning point with them.
"Get dressed, I actually have a surprise for you."

"I don't like surprises." The look I got in return said enough. 'Get dressed'
So I pushed myself off of him, despite how comfortable he was. I didn't even bother bringing the sheet with me as I left the bed to find clothes in my dresser.
Leaving him alone with the dogs as I dipped into the restroom to brush the matted mess that was my hair.
Coming back out in a skirt and a tank top. Nothing fancy, simple black, very comfortable.

His eyes follow her as she walks away, not for any lust, he watched her hair. The raven locks flowed as she walked, reminding Bishop of one of the many reasons he loved her.
She returns, wearing exactly what he would expect to grace her body. Standing up from the bed, Bishop walked over and kissed her forehead. Together, they left her apartment building and drove to somewhere that made Nero's glance turn even more suspicious. They pulled up to the church, leaving the car outside of the front. Bishop got out of the car, and walked around to the passenger side, opening the door for Nero as he covered her eyes.

I stumbled a bit, allowing him to cover my eyes. I wasn't a big fan of surprises.. but I had to trust him.
So I waited and took baby steps in whichever direction he directed me in.

The baby steps turned navigating the church into a rather long ordeal, but finally her footfalls echoed in a large empty room. Walking to the middle of it, Bishop turns Nero to the left. Kissing her neck and released her eyes, he stepped back as the full sight of her surprise met her face.
A ceiling to floor length window, stain glass in its composition, its was a collage of sharp pointed green and purple shards. Looking as though they were shards of light coming from a single source, they all pointed to a winged figure standing in the middle. Wings spread several feet on each side, the shards turned black when inside the feathers that covered her wings. Her hair hung over her face, and most of the day down her robed body. Her arms stood slightly extended, her hands fully opened. Shards of light extended, crossing diagonally the shards coming from her emergence.
"Earea, the evil doer turned angel despite the opinions of all those around her. She became essential and loved by another angel, one that fought for heaven against the demons of Hell. Do you like it?"

"Am I your Earea?"

"You've always been much more than that, Artemis."
Bishop, who was still behind her, wraps his arms around her waist and rests his head on her shoulder.

That got me to giggle, slightly, as I wrapped my hands in with his."It's amazing with the sunrise... Thank you.." Even though I'm not much of an angel...
