He didn't have to like Nero's choice in men... but he at least wanted to see her happy. However that also went for Remmi.

Bishop didn't react to the apology. He figured that was the way that NNY would have wanted it, otherwise the apology itself wouldn't have been so subtle.
"I think its safe to assume that while the people in the Satanists are a connection...they are not ring leaders. For the very reason you just stated. Which is another reason I think its a good assumption to blame Peter's associates...not Peter himself."

The car pulled up to the safe house curb as Bishop turned to NNY.
"I don't really feel that LaVey's daughter would be a lead as much as a hassle. So I suppose I will have to use my church. I'm sure I can splash enough to make him hear me. This is us..."
Bishop pointed up to the safe house door as the he pulled around the side of it. Getting out of the car, he turned to NNY.
"I would say prepare yourself but I think you have seen her like this before."

"I'm sure I've seen her worse..." He had been there for a lot of Nero's falls.
He had seen her with all if the shit from her ex husband and his mentor... everything she had done to herself and everything in between...
"You'd be surprised how much trouble she's been involved in in the past 9 years.."
He followed Bishop into the house. It was quiet, almost peaceful and to his surprise it wasn't littered with God.
"Doesn't even look Pentecostal."

Bishop inhaled slowly the scent of vanilla from the air freshener in the wall.
"I think it was at one time, but as many people that have been in here I think it morph to make people more comfortable. Nero especially would suffer the church apparel like she has occasion, but she definitely prefers a neutral space. Speaking of her, she's back here."
Bishop pointed to the hallway, ushering for NNY to go first. Maybe seeing a familiar face come through the door first would help her if she were awake.

But what they found instead was Cell laying in a small pool of his own blood and a mess by the bed. NNY stood in horror at the sight of the otherwise empty room.
Walking in enough for Bishop to get to Cell.
"Please tell me that isn't Cell."

Bishop rushed to check the pulse of Cell, who he could barely see was breathing with the way he was laying.
"He is supposed to be Cell, I think most of him is still here."
Bishop said in a way that would have been humorous in a different circumstance.
"Help me get him to the bed."

NNY didn't argue with him as he helped Bishop get Cell to something soft.
"No bullet wound... looks like a fist dud the damage... maybe you're not as safe as you thought Bishop."
And despite his words he wasn't being his usual self. He was actually showing concerned For the situation.
"Is he going to be ok? How tough is he?"
