It had barely been said between the two. Bishop was sneaky in saying it first and Nero... well she finally admitted she was being a dumbass and told him she loved him. But she decided to stand her ground and be in the mood she was in. And a part of her felt he was throwing the fact out there to benefit from it... maybe that was her past talking.

She leaned forward until she basically fell onto her side beside him, her back to him as she stared out across the room. The light from the small cross window shining onto the wall. "I went to Brooklyn's." Well that hat was dropped, her first words since that night and this is when she decided to say them.

Maybe it was the risk of a repeat of their meeting at the police station, maybe it the shock at both of them being in one piece. Either way, he was speechless for longer than he would have wanted to be.
Mustering the first thing that came to his mind, he spoke with the intent to break the silence.

It was the truth, only a few times has Remmi appeared with a phrase that didn't mark a sharp turn in the conversation.

Since Michael was incapacitated, Brooklyn had actually managed to leave some of Bishop's mind, enough for someone who didn't want to be seen...to not be noticed.
