'It's warm...'
'It's always warm.'
'No, like really warm...'
I tried to roll over but I felt tugging at my arm, I groggily opened my eyes... I knew this set up, this room... It looked like the hospital Tylor died in. But that was...
Remmi couldn't have done something in the cooking class to warrant a hospital visit.
I sat up as the soft beat quickened. I wasn't panicked, just confused... How was I in Iowa? Where was Garrett?
"Rem?"
....
"Remmi, stop fucking around."
"Nero?"
My attention quickly shot to the door, THAT voice.... And than he appeared through the doorway... like a bad dream. My heart monitor picked up pace until I ripped it off. I swung my feet over to stand up but he was quickly there to stop me.
"Calm down, you shouldn't just jump up."
"What are you doing here? Bishop... Where's Garrett?"
"Who's Garrett?"
"My boyfriend." He took a step back, caught off guard by the answer.
"Nero, you don't have a boyfriend.... we're married."
The words shot through any cloudiness that was fogging up my mind... Married? When I clearly remember the divorce... The lying... the manipulation... that they both played with me... with us...
He took the scalene as a chance to help me remember... or understand. "I found you in the chapel... you were just laying there and I couldn't get you to wake up."
The chapel...
The most unusual place for me to run to, but I went there after...
"Tylor."
He placed a hand on my leg, hesitate to hug me. "He passed away nearly a week ago."
"And Remmi?"
"Who?"
"Don't lie to me, I know Tylor... hid her, or whatever he did. I know she's in here, I just can't hear her!" I was feeling dizzy and I swear the room jumped 20 degrees.
"Nero? Nero!"
A loud thud followed by metal scrapping together caused me to jolt awake. The haze rested in my mind as I tried to look around. My head felt like it was a hundred pounds and moving it became a struggle.
I just laid there... in the seat of a car? That's what it felt like...
'Pennies...'
Her voice was barely there, merely a whisper that I barely caught. I tasted pennies... only other time I ever had that taste was...
The thought wasn't finished as the hot Vegas sun beamed into my eyes, I was too focused on keeping my thought that I didn't hear the car door.
Blonde... That was the color of his hair before...
"NERO!"
His voice was frantic, worried, as the sound of running footsteps burst into the room.
"She was up and talking."
And than nothing... I must have just given in to the drowsiness. When I woke up things were calm. The slow beep of the heart monitor was echoing in my ear. I didn't even try to open my eyes... I remembered this feeling...
I felt this way when I had lost her... My first child, that feeling of eternal sorrow...
"She was talking about her boyfriend and someone named Remmi."
"Is there a possibility she's seeing someone else?"
"No, it's not her style. I told her where I found her... and she remembered Tylor passing away."
"Is that when she collapsed again?"
"Yea."
Something cold touched my chest and I wanted to push it away but I heard that whisper again...
'It's getting hot.'
"It could very well be her cooping with everything that happened."
"Is she going to be okay?"
"When she wakes up we'll know more."
I remember this feeling... A deep sorrow that had no end. I was laying in a hospital much like this one after I lost my first child... when Remmi came into my life...
I felt like the world was over, my place blocked out from existence... Was she fake?... Was Garrett fake? I don't know if I could handle that...
We are the cruelest to ourselves... no one else could inflict this kind of pain on me....
'Wake up.'
Nothing at all
'Wake..'
Nothing...
How long does it take to cook a person in a coal car, in the desert?

The answer could have been found... If they didn't have the knowledge they were being watched... filmed actually.
The alert went off on Sin's phone, streaming the live feed. A large black Sedan, no plates followed by a white pick up truck.... Also no plates.
He watched as he quickly headed for the exit of the church, taking the back way to avoid people. Two men, both tall, both blonde... That was all he could gather from the distance they were from the camera, like they knew how far to go to avoid details.
They both came from a driver seat, collecting at the bed of the truck. Bringing down the tail gate they both started to pull it's cargo to the edge.
An old coal car.
His blood began boiling, it was identical to the one he blew up... in that same location.
He sat in his car, watching as the two men somehow lifted it to the ground. Did he start driving? Would they be gone by the time he got there? Probably... it was nearly an hour to get there.
So he was forced to watch... One staid behind, taking the lid off as the other headed back to the Sedan. Reaching in and a minute later he pulled out a large black bag.
A very large black bag...
And he held it like you would a person, his arms out, nearly cradling.
It had to be a body. He stopped viewing the feed to make the only call he could. Turning over the engine in one fluid motion as the other end rang...

Sin slammed on the brakes, sliding his car to a halt, kicking up dust. He didn't even bother turning off the car before his door was open and he was heading towards the coal car.
Of course it was sitting in the middle of the wreckage that his firebird wouldn't be able to pass without flat tires.
He was nearly there when he heard another car coming in behind him, turning to see a familiar car. He nearly sighed, the thought of the Sedan coming back hadn't crossed him mind until that moment...

Cell was jogging to meet Sin the second he got out of his car.
"Still dealing with coal cars Cell? I hoped we were past this."
Cell said as he became side by side with Sin, giving him a concerned look.

"That's why I blew this place up Cell... But something told me to keep an eye on the place." Or something in him just wanted to.
He continued walking, not slowing his pace any.
"Two men came and dropped this off right before I called you." Reaching the cart he paused, hesitate to open the lid... "They put a large black bag in here, big enough for a person. I mean it looked like he was carrying a person.
You said to let it go... still think that's a good idea?"

Cell walks around to the other side of the lid, placing his hands on it. Sin could have moved it himself, but her wanted a little more control in it not being thrown depending on what was inside.
"I suppose that depends on the person."
That was all Cell said as he became more and more anxious.

They moved the lid, letting it fall to the side to reveal a bag. It looked like trash, thrown away and forgotten... What if he didn't have the camera out here... would it have just been forgotten?
Looking over at Cell before he reached down and started to unzip the bag... only to send his blood into another boil, leaving him speechless.

Cell reaction was almost unreportable as he just stared. his motionless stance interrupted onlhy by SIn reaching in to pull the frail contents out.
"Is she...breathing?"
He immediately helped get her foot untangled from the bag as he pulled it out and laid it on the ground, just in case she needed to stretch out before being carried again.

"Looks like it.." He carefully moved her, laying her down on the bag Cell laid out. He checked her pulse, it wasn't weak.. but it wasn't extremely strong either. Effects he had seen before on a person... effects he had done to a person actually.
"She's been drugged, but she should be fine." He than proceeded to check her arms than her neck.
"What the fuck..." He looked up Cell, unsure of what the next step should be.

Cell rubbed the back of his neck as the sand made it itching, he looked up to the sky then back down to Sin.
"Its basically sunset, even with the sand the air out here is still better than that thing. Let her breath for a bit."
He watched as Nero's head made a motion that he could've sworn was a snuggle to a wrinkle in the bag. He looked at Sin, tilting his head to motion him to step away for a word.

He didn't move far, just far enough to turn off his car. Cell followed but both men kept glancing back at the woman fast asleep.
"No license plates, two blondes, probably about my height. That's all I got, my camera didn't get a good look at their faces." He was trying to remain calm, he was trying not to punch his car... Maybe this is why Bishop paced.

Cell's mind raced as he tried to remember where, is anywhere, he could place the details.
"Do you think this is about...or connected to the gun we saw?"
Sin's answer would be the decider. The way he found out how much Bishop would like to know about all of this.

"It has to be. We both know Micheal didn't play well with others.
But why now? Months after the fact.. they drugged her, what if I didn't keep an eye on this place?
She could have died before she woke up!" His voice raised as he motioned towards Nero but directed his anger towards Cell.

"What if she never got rescued and she was already dead?"
Cell made Sin look at him via hand motions.
"You did keep an eye on the place, Will, and I know you. There is no chance you wouldn't have kept an eye on."
Nero made a whimper as she rolled to her side, a large sigh as the cool evening air entered her lungs.

That got both of their attentions before Sin sighed, turning back to Cell.
"Someone has my answers and she's apparently a key... or at least a pawn."
